Two men shot in Whitby PDF Print E-mail

Durham Regional Police are investigating a shooting incident which occurred early Friday morning in Whitby and resulted in the wounding of two men with non-life-threatening injuries.

On Friday December 10, 2010 at approximately 2:05 a.m., officers from Central West Division responded to a reported single gunshot incident within the vicinity of Brock Street North of Dundas Street West in Whitby. Upon arrival, investigators were unable to locate any victims or suspects. Approximately thirty minutes post-incident, investigators received information indicating two male victims had arrived to a local hospital in West Durham and were suffering from gunshot injuries. Both males in their early twenties are expected to make a full recovery.

The investigation is ongoing. No suspect description information is available at this time.
