Holiday train rolls into Oshawa PDF Print E-mail

The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train is rolling into Oshawa, bringing rock and roll and Christmas cheer to area residents.

The train will stop at the railway Crossing on Bloor Street, west of Grandview Street on ?Sunday, November 28, 2010? at 7:15pm and there will be an hour long event following its arrival.

Since 1999, the CP Holiday Train has traveled across Canada and the United States, raising more than 4.8 million dollars and collecting over 2.3 million pounds of food for local food banks.

This year’s entertainment will be provided by The Odds.

Residents are asked to bring non-perishable food items and wear warm clothing.

•    Hot chocolate will be available.
•    All food and cash donations are welcome.
•    All proceeds go to Feed the Need in Durham food bank.

The stage opens up on the east side of the train tracks, facing Grandview. Bloor St. will be CLOSED to public access between Harmony and Grandview from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Please plan alternate routes.
